Get The Look: Bridal Season with Armani beauty

Bridal makeup is all about finding the balance between radiance, longevity and effortlessly enhanced beauty. The finished look should feel polished enough for the camera while still looking like the most beautiful version of the bride herself.

For me, bridal complexion starts with one essential: Luminous Silk Foundation. Paired with softly defined eyes and a fresh flush of the new Dolci blush, it creates a timeless look that translates beautifully from aisle to dance floor and into the evening.

Here’s how I would recreate it.

Step 1: Prep for a luminous base.

Start with well-prepared skin, focusing on hydration without leaving excess slip on the surface. Allow skincare to absorb and settle before applying makeup. For additional radiance and longevity, apply Luminous Silk Illuminating Primer, allowing to settle before reaching for foundation.

Step 2: Luminous Silk: The Bridal Essential.

Apply Luminous Silk Foundation in thin, buildable layers, concentrating coverage in the centre of the face and blending outwards. Use a smaller brush to build coverage in areas where needed. Finish with a brightening shade of Luminous Silk Concealer beneath the eyes and on the highpoints of the face to add light.

The result is luminous, refined skin that looks beautiful in natural light and photographs beautifully.

Step 3: Add a Romantic Flush.

For a contemporary bridal look, introduce the new Dolci blush onto the apples of the cheeks blending upwards over the cheekbones for a lifted effect. Dolci has a great colour payoff so whether you choose one shade or combine shades for a custom finish, the rich cream to powder texture is perfect for soft romantic flush or build for high colour impact.

Step 4: Create a Monochromatic Moment.

One of my favourite ways to make bridal makeup feel modern is to create a subtle harmony between the cheeks and lips. Press your Dolci shade into the lips for a blurred lip effect or combine shades for an ombre finish.

Step 5: Softly define the eyes.

Eye tint is perfect for bridal makeup because it can be applied as a sheer wash of colour or layered to create greater depth. Blend a neutral shade matte the lid, concentrating slightly more colour along the lash line and on the outer corner. Finish with a coat or Vertigo Lift Mascara for lash definition and length without clumping.

Step 6: Add a touch of Sparkle.

Finish with accents of shimmer to enhance the glow and captivate the light. I like to incorporate shimmer shades of Eye tint like 12S Shell or 67S Sparkle. Adding a wash of sparkle across the lid or to the inner corner to brighten the eyes.

Finish by dressing the lips with Prisma Glass Icy Plumper– a shimmering plumping oil in gloss formula that feels comfortable all day long.
